No longer am I fishing around for my tools. Now all of them are within hands reach. I love this tool cup.

Why did I not order this sooner.
I just received my first order of wood butter. After cleaning I my wooden pottery ribs I slathered the wood butter all over them and let them dry for a while. The product soaked in and restored my ribs nicely. I will continue to this to keep my wood tools In god condition.
I recently received the four piece rib set and LOVE it. I've retired my old foot tool, love the bubble tool (first time I've used something like this) and have tried the other two, as well. I love the holes in the ribs as they make it easy to keep a tight hold on the ribs. The wood seems to be high quality, too. I'm sure these aren't my first set of tools from Stoic Clay Tools.
P.S. be sure to buy some wood butter to keep your tools in great shape,. I'm also a fan of the splashpan tool cup. Great design and keeps my tools easily accessable while I throw or trim!

Very easy to use the rib and get perfect shaped bowls. I am using 2 pounds of clay for a cereal bowl. Hope this tool will last a while

Stoic Clay Tools is just the two of us, Brett and Rachel, working together in a small workshop in Upstate SC. When we made our first batch of tools in 2023 we realized how much we enjoyed designing and shaping pieces with the same attention to detail that potters bring to their own work. Since then we have come a long way, making thousands of ribs for hundreds of potters in the US and around the world. We are extremely grateful for every potter who chooses what we make to become part of their own process.
