The Foot Stick

I love this tool, it's compact, lightweight and sturdy. The profile allows me to add a foot even in a tight angle, a freedom that I've found harder in other tools that often have the foot cutter on a wide rib that makes it difficult to get into a tight spot on the wheel. I only use the curved cutout, I've tried the triangle side but that hard edge on the foot is hard to preserve all the way through multiple firings in a community studio, where fragile edges occasionally get dinged. I actually use the triangle edge to remove the clay build up from the edges of my Blue Bucket vat system tiles when i remove from the insert. Good tool for small hands or limited storage space.
