About Us
Stoic Clay Tools is just the two of us, Brett and Rachel, working together in a small workshop in Upstate SC. When we made our first batch of tools in 2023 we realized how much we enjoyed designing and shaping pieces with the same attention to detail that potters bring to their own work. Since then we have come a long way, making thousands of ribs for hundreds of potters in the US and around the world. We are extremely grateful for every potter who chooses what we make to become part of their own process.
